WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

Summi Summi is a fun Australian label that stylishly blends contemporary
designs with coastal vibes. Featuring limited collections of ribbed cotton
basics, linen sets, oversized tailored shirts, swimsuits and signature dresses.
Think bright colourways, statement prints and wardrobe essentials in classic
neutral tones. Summi Summi silhouettes effortlessly take you from picnics to
parties by balancing beauty and wearability in harmony.

Designer and owner Ashleigh Vallis relocated from Sydney to the coastal hamlet of Yamba in 2016 and quickly realised the need for clothes that showcased the best of both worlds, think city flair meets relaxed beachy wear. The first release was a one ribbed bodysuit that proved wildly popular with fashion savvy clientele and boom Summi Summi the label was born. Today Ashleigh mindfully crafts seasonal ranges in an array of luxe fabrics to suit all shapes and sizes and yes, the one ribbed cotton still features in every collection. Summi Summi is all about inclusivity and it’s a family run operation here. Fact; Ashleigh’s mum was once a model before starting her own fashion career sewing dresses on the factory floor and although Ash didn’t have the patience for honing the trade back then it’s fair to say she was always destined for the fashion stage.

SUSTAINABILITY

Summi Summi’s core message is to minimize environmental impact on the planet. That’s why we only design limited runs (once it’s gone there’s no re stock) to avoid mass production. All orders are shipped in certified eco-friendly packaging and our international supply chain is transparent – meaning that all products are responsibly made. We don’t claim to be totally green, but we do aim to ensure our manufacturing processes are align with our environmentally friendly ethos. Plus, any old stock is donated to credible Australian charities that empower and support women.
