Born during a Summi Summi work trip to a secluded tropical resort, where towering palms swayed over a serene pool and days slipped by in slow-motion. Guests lingered in holiday mode—sun-kissed, over-indulging in fresh banquets, shuffling around in complimentary palm-leaf slides—while the only appointment on the calendar was sunset happy hour.
Travelling between shoot locations, we zipped past roadside stalls overflowing with vibrant tropical fruit and makeshift boutiques selling bold sarongs and easy living island wear. These vivid flashes of colour and texture became a key spark for the collection—chaotic and exuberant yet perfectly contrasted with the resort’s pristine luxury, ocean views and moonlit dinners for two.
Our in-house textile designer captured these moments on film throughout the trip. One standout image—towering palms arching over the resort pool—became the signature La Palma Print featured in Capsule II.
